Human Performance and Behaviour

In this area we are conducting research on how to promote human creativity and cognitive working skills by securing an indoor climate, which meet the demands of people using the buildings. This means that we are focusing on implementing building systems and technologies, which easily can be adjusted according to the user’s needs to secure a healthy indoor climate for securing that indoor climate does not have a negative effect on health and comfort.

Therefore, we need to take into account the user behaviour during the design phase of the building and its systems, because the understanding of typical behaviour and the interplay between indoor climate and work performance are important factors for a healthy indoor climate.
