Research

The Section for Indoor Environment has made a mark as a strong research group at a high international level for decades. The section conducts research on development of design criteria and technical solutions with the purpose of establishing a healthy, comfortable and productive indoor climate at low energy consumption level. Furthermore, the section conducts research within building physics with the purpose of laying the groundwork of buildings with sustainable constructions, buildings that are healthy to stay and live in, and buildings which have a minimal energy demand for heating. A big part of this work is to find ways to disseminating their findings and knowledge.
