Man and the Physical Environment

The course provides knowledge about the impact of the physical environment (thermal, air quality, noise, light, electromagnetic radiation, vibration) on human health, comfort, and performance.

After completing the course, students are able to, among other things:

  • give a detailed account of the impact of thermal conditions and air quality on human health and comfort
  • give an account of the impact of the physical environment, including sound (noise), light, electromagnetic radiation, and vibration, on human health and comfort.
