BSc and BEng courses

The section’s BSc courses are recommended as introductory courses for students who want to study at Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, or enrol on another MSc programme at DTU.

The section offers four BSc and BEng courses:

11121 Thermal Building Physics
The course provides an in-depth understanding of heat transfer mechanisms.

11202 Man and the Physical Environment
The course provides knowledge about the impact of the physical environment (thermal, air quality, noise, light, electromagnetic radiation, vibration) on human health, comfort, and performance.

11203 Introduction to Indoor Environment
The course provides knowledge about the impact of the physical environment (thermal, air quality, noise, light, electromagnetic radiation, vibration) on human health, comfort, and performance.

11763 Design and Analysis of Indoor Climate
The student acquires the competences needed to design indoor climate and to plan, carry out, and evaluate measurements, calculations, and observations of indoor climate, and on that basis propose indoor climate improvements.
